My story

I began my career in make-up and hairstyles after graduating in 2004 with a BA (Hon) in Creative and Performing Arts.

​Over the next 16 years, I qualified as a hairstylist and beautician. I’ve worked on stage productions, music videos in Liverpool and London. I gained editorial experience working for various well-known agencies like Storm Modelling, Premier Modelling, Image magazine and Dotty Vintage Weddings.

​I’ve also worked as a hair and beauty teacher for young people and a life-coach for adults.

​It’s truly a joy to work with a diverse range of clients!

My job is to help you feel confident, at ease, and look amazing for your big day, to make sure you are looking your best and have hair and make-up which will stay looking great all day.

​I work with you to gain insight into your desired outcome, choosing colours that are perfect and uniquely match your preferred look or personal taste.

Bridal Trials

A trial helps you to determine your ultimate look for your big day. It helps to gain an understanding of you and your dream look. During your trail we will have an in depth consultation, discussing at influencing factors; colour scheme, timings, skin type, tone, hair texture and length. I start my trails with a facial to get you into a zen state and ensure your skin is prepped. I love getting to know brides, building a rapport and helping your dream vision become a reality.

Lou did a great job doing my wedding makeup as well as my 3 bridesmaids too! She took plenty of time during the trial to ask questions about my current regime, and how I usually wear my makeup so I didn’t feel like a different person. But the best version of me! On the day, she arrived at the venue on time and got on well with everyone. She spent plenty of time making me feel great, even with a little facial beforehand so I felt relaxed! Thanks for all of your help and I can’t wait to share the professional photos with you!
